Privacy

Short version: signup for updates is not open yet. Once it opens, if you sign up, HomeSmarter keeps your first name, ZIP code and email address to send you updates. It is never sold. You can unsubscribe anytime.

What is collected

Only what you type into the updates form: your first name, your ZIP code and your email address.

Why

Your email address is used to send HomeSmarter updates, such as new guides and seasonal reminders. Your first name makes those emails a little more personal. Your ZIP code shows whether you are in the local service area: northeast Oklahoma, from Tulsa and Bartlesville down to Henryetta, and Joplin, Missouri.

Who handles it

The signup list is kept with an email service provider. Your information is not sold or traded.

Unsubscribing

Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your information removed completely, reply to any HomeSmarter email and ask.

FilterPing

FilterPing keeps what you enter in your own browser on your own device. That information is not sent to HomeSmarter.

Emailing Andrew

The email address on the home page is hidden behind a quick check that you are a person, not a bot. The check is run by a security service, and it only runs if you tap "Show email address". HomeSmarter does not keep anything from it. If you send an email, your address and message are used only to answer you.
