This list is saved only in this browser. Safari on iPhone and Mac can clear it after 7 days of using Safari with no tap or click in FilterPing.5 Your calendar reminders are not affected.
Your replacement list
Quantities cover one replacement round, less any spares you entered. Confirm the exact label and equipment fit before buying.
Different dates, other items & detailed editing
Add a fridge filter, humidifier pad or salt check, or give a filter its own details.
Your reminder plan
A habit that sticks
Check. Change. Remember.
- Read the label. Save the size and part number so your next shopping trip is easier.
- Give it a look. Air-filter checks and replacement dates are separate. Checking a filter doesn’t mean it was replaced.
- Log what you did. Record a check or change, then refresh your calendar if the plan changed.
A date is a reminder, not a measurement of how much life a filter has left.
What does the MERV number mean? helps you understand the label.
When the calendar isn’t enough
ENERGY STAR recommends checking an air filter monthly and replacing it at least every three months.1 Follow your equipment and filter instructions. A longer interval belongs here only when the product’s guidance supports it. Every home is different: checking each month shows how fast yours gets dirty, and if nothing else, every three months is a good rule of thumb.1, 4
If a filter whistles, bows, won’t fit or the system’s airflow changes, ask a pro to check the fit and equipment. Color alone does not tell you when a filter is due. Use the light test instead: hold the filter up to a light beside a new one. If light passes through easily, air can too. If it looks dim, or no light comes through, replace it.4

- Add to your calendar with an .ics file or a Google link. Your choice.
- This is a reminder only. It does not check the filter.
Sources
Each small number on this page points to the source below that backs it up.
- ENERGY STAR, Heating and cooling at home. Check the filter every month and change it at least every 3 months.
- EPA, What is a MERV rating? Higher MERV ratings trap more particles.
- U.S. Department of Energy, Building America Solution Center, High-MERV filters. Every filter slows airflow some, and a system has to be able to handle the filter.
- Field experience. The light test, that color alone does not show when a filter is due, and that the size printed on an old filter can be wrong.
- WebKit (Apple), Full Third-Party Cookie Blocking and More. Safari deletes a website's saved data after seven days of Safari use with no user interaction on that site. Home Screen web apps are not part of Safari, and Apple does not expect their saved data to be deleted.
